Any one have inputs on this? I ordered it. I am still on the fence on this over the 8BitDo Ultimate 3-mode etc. controller that I've seen for $30 a couple times. Most interesting is the adjustable joysticks on the PowerA. But I'm worried about the quality of everything from the triggers to the buttons, since I always perceived PowerA to be a budget brand.

From what I can tell it's never dropped below $39.99 (MSRP). There are ZERO reviews for the Advantage Plus model from what I can tell on Amazon. On their youtube channel they posted an ad for it 9 days ago, so my honest guess is they lowered the price to try to drive sales/reviews but that's only my guess.

Yeah, you're right, have not found any reviews for this ANYWHERE and did see that they barely posted a video for it, Amazon has it released on March 18, but could be wrong. I agree they are probably just trying to get it in peoples hands.

Welp, it'll be here tomorrow, I'll try to give a brief initial impressions review of it on here.

I had an 8bitdo Ultimate for Xbox Windows, and didn't use it a whole lot. Maybe I mishandled it or stored it improperly, but the cable (on the controller part) started fraying and was giving out once in a while until it didn't work at all, so I like the idea of USB-C. It also got some noticeable stick drift, so hope Hall Effect completely corrects this.

I've been looking for a like-new Fusion Pro 2 but this looks like a great backup option. In for one and if it's built half as well as my other PowerA it'll be good

I don't have any experience with this particular controller, but years ago I had a couple of the wired Power A Xbox One controllers and they were hot garbage. Both of them got RMAed multiple times each. I'm an adult, and took care of them, they all started failing (usually the bumpers) within 3 months

I'm honestly not liking these sticks, not sure if it's Hall Effect or the hardware/software of the controller, it just doesn't feel as smooth as my Xbox One controller(microusb ver.). Deadzone is 0 on the Advantage Plus and you still have to move it a bit for it to register, and it feels like the stepping is off.

That sucks sorry :/ Hopefully you can easily return if you decide to.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm so tempted to try Hall Effect again, but still reading ALPS is just better for the smoothness and general feel, really all that it has against it is the stick drift. Hall Effect relies on firmware too much, and I guess it's dependent on the controller. I want smooooth sticks. The PowerA A+ stick was pretty equal within a a short range, but I feel it required a bit more push to start the movement, now I might attribute that to the 7 year old OEM controller's 1-4% drift(not recalling the exacts), when setting the deadzone to 0 on COD:BO6, the OEM controller had so slightly a drift, and that's not actually much of an issue for the right stick, but I set it to a 4% in the COD settings, to make it more fair to compare with the PowerA A+, and still, the OEM controller felt smoother and camera movement within and beyond that first push(for the PowerA A+ to register).
