This below deal from a couple months ago was better. More importantly, people reported mixed qualities on the open boxes so presumably some were returns from the prior deal at lower prices.

I wanted to buy a galaxy book. But I've just seen far too many reports of screens cracking for seemingly no reason. Not sure if it's just because of a large sample size due to it being a Samsung.

screen cracking might not so much of a problem. The store floor display models have a serious burn in issue, being displaying the same screen over many months. Does not recommend to purchase unless you check the screen on white background for the burn in.

I bought a fair one, it was a display model but could not find any burn in issues. Overall it was in a new condition. Chances are, I will keep it as pros outweigh the cons

Dont forget to check battery cycle and SSD read/write/on hours

Get CrystalDiskInfo (I usually go with the zip version - just unzip and run).
