Wireless version of this is the best third party controller I have ever used - so much so that I bought two without even needing them last time they were on sale. Would never buy wired, but if/when the wireless/Hall effect one goes on sale I'll probably get it. Can't recommend highly enough. Wish I could use them on PS5.
Just know that 8Bitdo stopped importing to the US because of Tarriffs. If you want one of their controllers, now is probably the time. Who knows when they'll be back.

Again they just will not import directly from China
Import across the board on all imports of at least 15% I believe. Porta are at a standstill in China not coming to the US, viewable on the Bloomberg terminal.

No hard-feelings towards 8BitDo, but it was either a PR stunt or 'pressuring' from internal or external administrative/regulatory parties.
From my tiny PoV, they had 0 reason to exit the NA market. 8BitDo could increase prices 150% and still be 'competitive' with their nearest-competitors (that I see on the shelf in places like Best Buy).

Do they have wireless of the Xbox version? I couldn't find when I looked.

To my knowledge,
The only wireless (to the Xbox) Xbox controllers that 8BitDo currently sells are:
"8Bitdo Wireless Arcade Stick for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10"
and
"8Bitdo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11"
To my knowledge,
8BitDo has no "Xbox Wireless Technology" wireless peripherals for the XBOX.
-The 2 XBOX-compatible wireless devices they do sell, utilize a dongle.
-Their 3-mode wireless controller, is wired-only for the XBOX.
Beyond 8BitDo,
I was not able to find any Hall Effect joystick equipped XBOX Wireless controller that wasn't either,
A. $200+
or
B. Hideous beyond comprehension (PowerA PacMan/Fortnite limited edition)
Note: This might sound scathing towards 8BitDo but, after spending over a week (on/off) researching controllers and settling on their 3-mode controller...
I'd solidly say 8BitDo has the best offerings for the money on the market.
Have used this exact model daily for around 4 years. Solid response good feel to buttons. Thought it was going out a couple of years ago but was just the cable. Bought a wireless $60 Xbox controller and prefer this one.

No thanks. This style gives me carpal tunnels... XBox offset are the best design ever.
