In general you should miss the worst of the monsoon season in the South and it should be warm in the North. Still hot in the South maybe cooling off in the North but still warm. And I would expect just moderate tourism into November, but I think the big tourist draws always have lots of tourist hehe.

Great deal to SE Asia. My boss just came back from Vietnam and Thailand and loved it as a tourist, he said normal daily expenses are incredibly cheap and not to forget to include that in your travel budget.

i think it generally depends on what you're willing to deal with. High heat, a lot of rain, Typhoons, more crowds higher prices?

Depends which visa. Single entry is $25-35 If i recall correctly If you want 90 day multi entry it'll cost more

If you go to Cambodia and then back to Vietnam you need a multi entry visa.
