Be warned there are a lot of Reddit posts that talk about how sketchy gamivo is including adding subscriptions to your cart by default and making it difficult to receive refunds when codes don't work.

Thanks for the warning! In these scenarios, always use a virtual credit card (many credit cards offer this feature), or use a virtual debit card (e.g., the Privacy virtual debit card -- I have the basic free plan). Set a maximum spending limit, and then rest easier knowing the virtual card will decline any transactions above your specified limit Smilie

$7.19 @ CDKeys: https://www.cdkeys.com/pacific-dr...n-pc-steam

I've literally had one bunk code on over a decade of CD Keys purchases, and they corrected it within the hour. Probably worth the extra dollar.

I purchased this recently and couldn't really get into it. Couldn't save my game in the garage and come back to it later so i ended up unistalling it. I should have watched some videos first to see what it was like.

East to try it at this price point though.

I had the same experience when I tried it, had to get dinner or something and closed down the game, when I restarted it was starting over the the beginning. Once you do all the tutorial tasks in the garage though, the game saves and you can start from there.

I really enjoyed this one... It's pretty atmospheric. Wish it was longer... Hopefully they'll come out with a DLC or something.

I bought this also couldn't get into it. Working on the car is is clunky bad UI. If they improve the repair mechanics or mod it I'll give it another chance.

The clunky mechanics are part of the gameplay though. Getting a flat tire when there's an approaching radiation storm is a lot less stressful if you have a 'repair tire' hotkey. Getting out and trying to be a one-man pit crew while your car rolls downhill because you forgot to set the parking brake is great.

If the moment to moment gameplay isn't your cup of tea but you still like the story and the setting - they added a "scenic drive" mode with no death, less damage, and lower crafting requirements.
