Thought most car manufacturers offered low APR. I know Honda has 1.9% now. Is this something Tesla just don't typically do?

I tested drive Tesla Y two years ago and Ioniq 6/5. The road nosie and road bumps felt in a Tesla was unbearable. In comparison, it was much more smoother and quieter in the Ioniq. So I got an Ioniq 6, pretty much trouble free for the past two years, and the rides have always been comfortable.

A month back, I got myself in a Tesla 3 Uber. It brought me back the poor in-car experience that I had when I tested the Tesla.

Just telling my own personal experience tied to my own personal taste, for the car only; not politics related.

Road noise on my '25 has been greatly reduced from my '22. Tesla put a lot of effort into it's reduction. Some people go cheap on tires and also don't realize ev tires have foam lining, at least the stock ones onTesla's, to help reduce road noise.

The new (2024+) model 3s are a big overall improvement from the previous generations. I imagine it's the same with this. Against all the hate, I actually love my M3P. It's pretty stupid quick and the FSD is surprisingly good once they upgraded to the latest hardware (no more phantom braking). I honestly barely drive myself anymore on 40 mile round trips from the burbs to a major city and back. Also charging for free99 is great

The upgraded 3 and Y are good cars. It's the internet circle jerk echo chamber that's the loudest. 90% of the owners are happy with them.

The best deals are 1-2 year old Tesla if you don't mind the older looks of the Y.

I own three of them and I'm left wondering what aspect of this company you think is wonderful? Because that's one of the last words that comes to my mind -- in fact I've never heard any owner ever say such a hyperbolic (and vaguely meaningless) sentiment towards this company

Which model do you own? TSLA?

90% is a baseless number you just fabricated from thin air

The latest revisions are price cuts. They've made the car progressively cheaper. The 2021 Raven Model S was peak Tesla, except for the slower infotainment screen.

Everything since then has been cost cutting. No rain sensor. No turn signal stalk. No gear shifter.

As I've said, I own three, and I'll never buy another one at this point. They ruined their cars regardless of the CEOs batshit crazy political antics. That just makes it all that much it obvious and apparent.

Guessing there is a demand issue, didn't take long to offer a special financing, consider redesign came out last month

Gonna be a lot of cars shipping back from overseas that they can't find buyers for soon too. If you're interested you might want to wait for the buy one get one free Tesla sales.

Yep! I miss the 2020 era Tesla where sure the cars were expensive but they pushed to be innovative. Now they're just any other car manufacturer cutting costs/corners anywhere they can with nothing new. The refreshed 3/Y LEDs would have been nice with a splash effect, but we get cheap glow sticks. They probably would have achieved FSD by now if they didn't cheap out removing sensors trying to rely on cameras alone.

Even now rather than make the cars better....the solution is to release a "Cheap Model Y" which is just a bare bones shell of a vehicle. I got lucky getting to escape my deprecation pit via Lemon law, will see where Tesla is at in a few years before trying again.

Folks here complaining about road noise in their 3 yr old prior version and overpaying during Covid shortage. A 1.99% loan on a great car is a deal, end of story, no one is offering less than 5.5%

Maybe when EM steps down as CEO and goes to the board, will I even think about a Tesla. Even then they need to build them better to last longer.. Tesla is the Temu of the USA

Any statistics to backup such a statement?

"No one"

bruh forget 2%, Acura, GMC, Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, and Subaru all have 0% APR offers right now

It's one of the oldest tactics to sucker people in when a shitty model is selling poorly

This refresh seems to have solved for the fit/finish, ride roughness, and road noise issues that plagued the first version. According to the video reviews I've seen at least.
