I have this and honestly I'm not sure the hammering function works that well. I don't think this works on concrete but maybe a brick it would work better

Is this powerful enough for concrete or brick walls?

Does great with smaller drill bits I haven't tried it with anything larger than 3/8. I've had this drill for over a year now and have beat the living he double toothpicks out of it. And it will still twist your wrist off.

$35 delivery is the only option, at that point it's really not on sale. Would buy if it was free ship.

I have the Ryobi SDS Rotary hammer already for masonry. I also own the M18 hammer drill but it's my only tool in that battery line. Otherwise I have all M12 and Ryobi. Would you sell the M18 and go with this hammer drill to consolidate battery platforms? I generally only use the M18 a few times a year when having to do hole sawing and heavy wood drilling.

just tried it out on CBS wall with 3.5" Tapcons.
Lots of power. Hammer function well. and the bit and chuck are straight and aligned.

my old P251 is a little wobbly.

Things I will miss: Belt clip and Mag tray

Yes, with a proper bit it'll clear through concrete in hammer mode

Do you have the M12 hammer drill?
Im primarily Ryobi in the home shop but have a small M12 set up I use for jobs out of the house.
I owned this hammer drill, the Ryobi SDS, and the M12 hammer drill. Don't think this hammer drill is anything special tbh and I often just end up using the M12 because it's out in my tool bag already, or the SDS because if you actually need to drill a lot of concrete holes (racks, wall studs, anchor points) you absolutely want the most muscle you can get.
But ya if you only own 1 M18 tool and battery but multiples of Ryobi 18V and M12 fold that tool into another ecosystem.

I agree. This thing has failed me and chewed my bits than I want to talk about. I still use it at home and when I need multiple drills out for a project but absolutely do not use it for concrete and masonry anchors anymore.

I used this drill + hammer for 1/2 inch bit on my concrete last week, easy no problem. Make sure turn the cobbler to hammer and speed 1, don't put too much pressure or you ruin your bit., vacuum or blow the dust out half way, in my case 6 inch deep.
