Current have old dated black and Decker and not invested in any ecosystem. Leaning toward a Dewalt or Ryobi.
Edit: Passed on the Ryobi and jumped on the Milwaukee M18 Set which gets very favorable reviews.

I don't have this one specifically, but some have that for if you bottom out

If the same model goes on sale in Ryobi Days at a better price, you could repurchase a new one and just return that against the old receipt. Food for thought if you have an immediate need to use it.
Im primarily Ryobi in the home shop but have a small M12 set up I use for jobs out of the house.
I owned this hammer drill, the Ryobi SDS, and the M12 hammer drill. Don't think this hammer drill is anything special tbh and I often just end up using the M12 because it's out in my tool bag already, or the SDS because if you actually need to drill a lot of concrete holes (racks, wall studs, anchor points) you absolutely want the most muscle you can get.
But ya if you only own 1 M18 tool and battery but multiples of Ryobi 18V and M12 fold that tool into another ecosystem.
first time it broke I returned to home depot
second time it broke I did the ryobi warranty
I would not recommend this specific tool.

Not sure really. Maybe because I'm a Pro member? Or maybe because some store(s) near me have it in stock for delivery? Try zip 27606
