I love the fridge. Don't like the auto open feature but kids do. Usually always trigger it opening the bottom doors. This is a pretty good price for this fridge

i've always wondered the appeal of the 4 door refrigerator. for those who have, what do you like about this over the usual french door?

Can I buy now and have it delivered mid August? Bought a home with closing in August, so can't have it installed until then.

Can anyone comment on the price history and how are the compressors with Samsung? Looking for something that lasts a long time and don't necessarily care about smart features or wifi connectivity.

Just got a 4-door a month or so ago. The thing that sold us is the fact that the chest freezers are usually a big cavity, stacked with a pile of boxes, frozen bags, ice cream, whatever. With the 4-door, there are trays and door shelves that allow the freezer area to be much more organized. You can just open up the respective section of interest, slide out a drawer and have the frozen items quick.

We just ended up getting one a month or so ago. What sold us is the fact that the typical chest freezers are a large cavity piled with boxes, frozen food, bags, ice cream, whatever. With the 4-door, the freezer has trays and door shelves so its a lot easier to organize. Just open up to the section of interest and pull out what is needed easily. It is a little harder to get the ice, but that's about it.

If you have kids the appeal is not having your drawers broken by little kids hanging on them all the time.

The deal i bought this exact one was around $2k. At this price it is a steal. I've had the samsung French door fridge and the ice maker broke. I said no more samsung (had bad luck with washer and dryer too) but this model had good reviews. I've had it only for 6 months and so far so good. I love the fridge. My young kids use the glass as a dry erase board and color all sorts of things on there. I would recommend at this price.
I moved my delivery date many times. Samsung will work with you if you chat with them. Worst case just cancel the order.

Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator. Worst decision you'll ever make.

You have kids the bottom right door is a godsend. They put all their stuff in there and we don't have to worry about them opening the big top area. It's also flexible so in the future, it could become a freezer if we want it. We have a separate vertical freezer and so we have enough space for the frozen items

We bought one of the bespoke fridges maybe 6 months ago on a similar deal.
A few things. Samsung gets a lot of reliability flack on stuff, but this generation of fridges was meant to solve that. So HOPEFULLY a little extra care went into it as Samsung tries to fix its name. Who knows, but the "Samsungs always break stuff" is from a long time ago.
The water system on the door is gamechanging. It sounds stupid saying this, your first thought is "That wastes a lot of space", but in reality it doesn't, and having the pitcher rocks.
You have to open the freezer and scoop your ice like a caveman, but it results in a significantly less complicated ice maker, and has a very good storage capacity. You quickly forget about the days of getting your ice in the door, which always sucked anyway.
They use RXO or other local carriers as delivery. Our original guys sucked. I would be shocked if this wasn't the first refrigerator these people had seen, let alone delivered, based on their skill. Delivery date changes about a half dozen times in the week leading up to getting it. They insisted on taking apart the refrigerator to bring it in, even though it was dimensionally smaller in every measurement than the one that was already there, and they took out without taking apart. Needless to say, the thing got damaged, resulting in us needing a replacement, which was its own mess with them. Watch them like a hawk.
When i checked out it offered me a credit if i wanted to trade a phone in. I just happened to have my box of old phones laying next to me, and pulled an old S8 out of it. It offered me a 250 dollar credit. I chose it, got the credit, they mailed me a box for the phone, i shipped it in, and just a week or two ago, the original phone got mailed back to me with a note saying the order was cancelled. No idea what went on with that, but now i'm just waiting for a random 250 dollar charge to show up to deal with.
But otherwise, we are really happy with the fridge.

Why is it always the white glass one that is on sale?
