Probably won't be seeing those for awhile the way the economy is going especially with Xbox raising MSRP by $10.
If you have Citi Custom Cash it's possible that you can get additional 4% rebate from Walmart (Citi Merchant Offers) Citi also codes Walmart as a grocery store so you can get 5x TYP if you choose to spend on groceries on Custom Cash this month. Xbox controllers are indeed garbage for anything but casual gaming. They're locked to 125hz.
8bitdo with Hall Effect or TMR sticks is the standard recommendation.
