If you install Kodi and the right repository, you will be able to stream content... all kinds. BUT it is hard to know which repositories work TODAY and they never last. And installing a "all in one" Kodi program will make Kodi on the firestick run too slow.
Four or five years ago... firesticks 4K max and Kodi was the shit. BUT things have progressed and TODAY, most streaming is done through websites and you never have to worry about repositories expiring or breaking down.
So, what does this mean? IMHO, the best VALUE for a device today for your TV is the iplay60 mini turbo made by Alldocube. It has USB-C 3.1 which means it has HDMI out through USB-C... and I can verify that it works!!! I will talk about the specs at the end of this post.
With Firefox and Ublock Origin, you can't go wrong and the unethical websites will not be able to send you any popups... to me it works like Netflix. I also think you can use Microsoft Edge with Ublock Origin.
There are HUNDREDS of websites that stream content, but reddit has the "piracy list" with every stream detailed for the public in one spot
WHY THE IPLAY60 MINI TURBO: To put some prospective to it... it has 8GB/128GB and SD 6 GEN 1 and a 8.4" screen. This is much faster then a Nvidia Shield console. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is faster than the NVIDIA Shield's Tegra X1 processor. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a newer, more efficient processor with 5G support, while the Tegra X1 is an older platform. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 also offers superior graphics performance and multimedia capabilities. But please read this with a grain of salt cause graphics will be better if you have a better CPU... but I am comparing this to a firestick not to seven hundred dollar tablet. I got my iplay mini 60 turbo at Ali Ex Pre SS for $130 about six months ago... TRUMP TARRIFS has increased the price by $30ish dollars.
If your looking to watch FREE content, I would do what I am doing.
Currently I can find it for $164. I know it is more then you want to spend but it is also a decent tablet. BUT do not expect any updates and I personally would not use it to purchase or do any banking on (just like any tablet that no longer gets updates).
Besides the Alldocube Iplay60 Mini Turbo, I needed to purchase a HDMI to USB-C cable and I purchased a drop proof case with the giant ring on the back that can turn and bend. (that was an additional $20).
Yes, Samsung tablets can experience latency when connected to a TV, especially when using screen mirroring or Samsung DeX. This latency can manifest as laggy motion, stutters, and a noticeable delay between input and output, potentially making the experience frustrating for users, especially during gaming or when using the tablet for productivity tasks
EDIT: Maybe promo works only in targetted accounts. The other code was showing invalid for me.

... DeX and Gaming are not typical either for mirroring or casting, both are resource hogs. I was referring to HD video streams from apps that neither platforms have apps for. Samsung TV Plus is one of my favorites for all my local news.
Google is seamless casting to my Sony OLED and ONN 4K PRO.. and I'm picky about the picture, I'm always fussing around with swapping boxes. Just tonight I updated my tablet and Onn both.
I'm all for Fire Stick deals, hard to beat the prices but even the Onn Plus is giving the Fire Cube a run for half the price.

SFTP connection is far too slow for watching 4K content.
SFTP speed test = 2 MB/s → Fire TV Stick 4K Max (This one.)
Same setup = 26 MB/s → Fire TV Stick 4K (1st Gen)
