I think what's interesting about the situation is that at this point these aren't even "in demand" anymore. They aren't flying off the shelves at these made up prices. My microcenter has like a 100 5080s in stock. The brief craze is over. I just don't see these prices as sustainable despite Nvidia going out of their way to create a "shortage". Even the PNY is way too much at $1400. Hard pass.

Yep, you can easily find a lot of 5080's in stock, hopefully people have gotten sick of the 50-80% markups on a 999 card. I'd only grab an fe model from best buy if i were to get one.
