Crazy deal (thanks, OP), but be forewarned....the last 2 times that I ordered these, they were fairly close to the expiration date (within 1 month or so if I recall correctly). I was refunded, but there's no automated option (although some say that there is), and it's a PITA, as they required photos (even though they're well aware that they're shipping short-dated stuff)!....the usual Amazon BS!
They're still halfway decent up to a few weeks later, but they do degrade to an extent once they exceed the expiration date. Some families breeze through these. For others, it's too short-dated. When they have blow-out deals like this, it's almost always older stock....but my theory (and I'm sticking to it) is that they may be cutting deals with the manufacturers and almost stealing their short-dated stock.

That's bizarre! It'll take the sting out of your receiving short dated packages (and you won't need to request a refund)! Chances are that's either a glitch or you participated in a previous promotion (which was applied to a future purchase). Weird!
Did you try placing more than two orders? Go for it if it's free!

That's confusing! This stuff is almost never short-dated at local stores (unless they hardly sell any). That's because Amazon is grabbing up the short-dated stuff for pennies on the dollar and selling them to unsuspecting customers!๐

I only tried with 2 because if they show up, I wouldn't know what to do with so many lol all my Amazon orders go to parents house and they're pretty old and don't drive, so even donating them wouldn't be that easy. I'll be there in the next few months but there's a chance the chips will expire before I do if they're really short dated.
That being said, if I try to place a third order, I still get the same 2 coupons, but now they only take off $1.02 and $7.00 for a total of $5.97, so they're no longer free for me.
I think it was a glitch because I haven't done any promos on Amazon. Definitely weird though!
edit: never mind lol I just saw my parents ordered some stuff on the account and got a $15 Amazon credit for it. I wasn't aware but thought it was weird that the amount was adding up to $15 exactly so I checked it out and sure enough, there was an email about a credit being applied.

Mystery solved! I have one that was never solved (but that's OK)...I recently did some food shopping at a supermarket and when I checked out, I had a $10 credit for a promotion that I never participated in! I know this, as I would never purchase the products from that promotion! Definitely a glitch. I'm just wondering how many others received that gift? With the cost of groceries, trust me, it really came in handy! It was like receiving a (very) early Christmas gift!๐

Was able to place 2 orders.
edit: never mind, the extra credit was the result of an order my parents placed so I wasn't aware we had $15 on the account.
