I think he's talking about the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16s which has been listed at $1799 on BB's webpage since NVIDIA announced the 50 series. This laptop though listed as "sold out" has not yet been released and hasn't sold a single unit yet. This price and listing were put up months ago, prior to any announcements of tariffs and given that all the OEM's have since increased the prices of their 50 series laptops, it is highly unlikely that Acer releases this model at the listed price. Either way, its not a fair comparison with this deal given that it is not yet released, and highly unlikely to be released at its currently listed price.

Thanks for the helpful information. Yes, Best Buy and some other retailers, simply use a Placeholder price for the upcoming Products which in most case, increases by a lot when the devices become available.
But the sad part is these guys here, simply did not understand that and started downvoting this specific deal for no reason. This Laptop is having one of the cheapest price for a RTX 5070 Ti Laptop and the quality of this also pretty solid.
