$2 is for Windows version. This is for Mac OS.

Those downvoting those saying these are grey market licenses, can you guys explain how these are actually legit? Been looking for a cheap Mac version of office for a while but not entirely sure if the price for this is too good to be true.

They are not legit. People believe groupon, stacksocial etc to be more trustworthy and believe they are the seller. Groupon, stacksocial and other similar sites are simply marketplaces. The actual seller is always a 3rd party. For MS Office, one of the more common 3rd party sellers is NerdUsed.

I bought one at a similar site; they did provide the activation key, and the instructions stated to activate with no internet connection, and you are not allowed to log in via Outlook or Hotmail account.

Purchased this a couple days ago. This is a legitimate key that will be linked to YOUR microsoft.com account. When purchased, you will receive an email confirmation from Sweetdeals. There is a pdf attached in the email saying it's a Microsoft Office for Mac Lifetime License with a redemption URL and a voucher code. Once you redeem the voucher code at the redemption URL you are brought to a page that says thank you for your purchase with an authorized Microsoft partner. You will then receive an email from Offer Redemption stating your order for Microsoft Home and Business is being processed and will receive another email within 24-48 hrs with your product key and instructions for installation. I received the email about a minute later with the official Microsoft office setup link (https://setup.office.com/Home) and Product Key. When you click the setup link, you will need to log into your Microsoft.com account. (free to create a microsoft.com account) It will then ask you to enter the product key. You will then receive an email from Microsoft saying your order has been processed and this order for 2021 office will be populated in your order history in your Microsoft.com account. Go to your order history, look for 2021 Office and click the download link to save the installation file. Launch the installation file in your Mac to install Office. To use the apps, login with your Microsoft.com credentials and you are done. If you have 365, add those login credentials as well. When I added my 365 credentials and opened Word, I could see all the recent files opened on another computer so it was syncing with the cloud. I am not an expert but I think this is what is referred to as BIND key. This product is linked to your email / Microsoft.com account and not your physical Mac that office is installed on. I guess the advantage is if you change machines, you do not have to look for the product key, you just need to use your microsoft.com credentials.
