This is the sweet spot IMO. M4 Pro 12-core is best bang for your buck. 24GB is way more breathing room than base. 512GB is ok.

Also, two fans. Which results in better cooling and potentially a longer lasting MacBook as it does a better job from mitigating heat damage

Been looking for a deal like this but I can't do the 512gb, need the 1TB. Wish I had a microcenter to get the m3 one with 36gb/1TB for the same price as this.

Price on Amazon has gone up to $1,799. It was $1,698 (and I got one at that price), but it's gone up since I placed my order 🤨🤷🏽 ♂️

Curious on thoughts about getting this over the MicroCenter M3 Pro 36GB/1TB. I got this M4 Pro/24GB from Costco recently but I'm already using 20GB RAM from 5-6 Firefox windows. I'm sure once I have Docker and other memory-heavy apps open I'll have problems. Has anyone had a heavy code / video editing setup on these laptops without memory issues?

Absolutely! I got on to chat with Best Buy and asked if they'd price match this deal. They confirmed that it was sold and shipped by Amazon and then had zero issues price matching for me.
They gave me a custom link to finalize the purchase and even let me pick it up at my nearest Best Buy with same day pickup!

This was of course while the price was still low.
