Stand is just the sawhorse type with no wings/supports, but still a great deal
Seems like great price! Not sure why it is not getting any traction.

Wow. Pretty sure this is in "all time low" territory. I wish I had a project to justify this beast, but unfortunately the old saw I've got is doing what we need.

it looks different than the older 779. Did Dewalt change anything?

I love this saw. But be warned it is super heavy if you plan to move around a lot. My dad retired his because he's getting too old to lift it and ended up replacing with a smaller 10 inch.

It's indestructible but man worksite to worksite up and down stairs sucks.

Seems like a really good deal. DWS779 miter saw and the DWX725 heavy duty stand. It's not as nice as the stand with extensions but the combo price is less than the saw by itself.

Wow....that seems like a slamming deal. I paid something similar for a single bevel, none slider.

Great saw but also requires alot of clearance behind.

I think I paid 350 for this setup on a black Friday deal. I sold the stand for like $100 and bought a Ridgid rolling stand on a Slickdeal for $99 and I've been very happy with that setup.

You can add the LED from the 780 to have the shadow line. I think I paid around $30 in parts to do so. Nice upgrade.

This is for the DWS779 Saw and DWX725 Stand

The DWS780 has the light which helps show where the blade will hit.

The DWX724 has the wings which is extremely helpful for supporting long material.

Here is a good video of the differences in the saws https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MV8I7islRY

This is a solid deal for what is included. I use the wings on the DWX724 almost everytime I use my saw. Seeing where the blade will cut and how much material will be cut by the blade is also extremely helpful, but you can easily work around this with taking more time and eyeballing where the blade will hit.

Do you have a link for LED Kit? Is it easy to upgrade? I would like a laser on my saw and this is a great price

this is a CRAZY price.. I got this same exact saw+stand in January for $400 and thought I got a huge steal. This price is so low it's almost weird.. like the stand wasn't supposed to be included or something. I think full retail MSRP on these individually would be >$900

Dammit. First free DeWalt tools from Lowes, and then super discounted Ego batteries from Lowes, and now HD does this. I'm gonna have to think about this one. It'd be a nice upgrade over my current 10" Metabo HPT single bevel. The last week has already set me back $500 as is!
