Title should say automatic, as in auto-retracting blade, not aluminum.
Good price for a reliable and simple box cutter, handy to have a few around the house.

Are there generic replacement blades for this? I would be worried about breaking the ceramic blade very quickly if I dropped it.

These aren't aluminum. The handles are flimsy plastic that flex in your hand. The thin ceramic blade only protrudes a few millimeters from the handle. I bought a few from a post on here. They're junk.. more like a toy or a kid's utility knife.

Bought this exact one before, I do not recommend. The ceramic blade is not that sharp and the force needed to hold the blade out isn't actually trivial.
Also I thought I could still angle it slightly weirdly in my hand since I didn't want to rotate the box all the time but nope: you gotta have the edge u r cutting at a decently specific position or u won't be able to hold the blade out.
Overall definitely not as easy to use as a normal box cutter.

I actually really like this. It's plenty sharp for box/tapes but it's dull enough that if you cut yourself, there's a chance you won't actually get cut. That happened to me while opening a box - if it was a regular box cutter I'd definitely have cut myself but this one couldn't get through my skin so I did not get injured. Obviously you can still get cut on this but the damage won't be anywhere near as bad.
