No...I have one....ZERO padding other than on straps and back panel. Any type of photography equipment would be subject to damage.

we keep one of these in the back of the car. OK for carrying extra jacket and a water bottle. not much else. no padding and not very big

I've been seeing this for $5 for a while now. Finally grabbed one for my gf to take on the kayak. Won't care if it gets messed up and should last a while. Paired with a small dry bag inside for essentials. Thanks.

Same. It'll be my son's go bag, to take his iPad and books with him when we go on trips. Seems perfect for that. The iPad has a kids cushioned case, so I'm not worried about the lack of padding in this pack.
