I've had this printer for a good 5-6 years and it's been FANTASTIC. I run generic toner in it and it works just fine. I'm tempted to buy another at this price, but feel like there plenty of life left in my current one. Also of note, I've bought many things from VIP over the years and they've all been legit and exactly as described.

I've had this printer for three years or so and it's a complete abomination. Generic toner prints with horrible quality, it rarely connects wirelessly with my phone or computer and the interface is garbage. Was literally shopping to replace this printer yesterday. Avoid

Bought this in 2020 for dang near the same price. This is a dumpster fire printer and would not recommend it at all.

I've had this printer for a good 5-6 years and it's been FANTASTIC. I run generic toner in it and it works just fine. I'm tempted to buy another at this price, but feel like there plenty of life left in my current one. Also of note, I've bought many things from VIP over the years and they've all been legit and exactly as described.

If you use generic toner it creates a popping sound that the genuine canon toner cartridges doesn't make.

Do you mind linking to the toner you use? I got a set in Amazon and they are leaking =( ever had that issue? I guess I need to take it all apart now and clean it

Dang, was hoping that they also had a version with duplex automatic document feeder (adf) scanning. Does not look like any models with that functionality available in their store.

Third-party toner is $60-$100 for 1,300-2,000 prints. Sure after 5,000 pages printed the toner will exceed the printer's cost, but how much would an inkjet run to print 5,000 pages?
