…2x2 PPR200 cage from 2018 has taken me through and won 4 powerlifting comps and 2 weight classes.

It'll be fine.
Steel tube is defined by size (2"x2") and thickness (gauge). Thinner gauged steel in a smaller tube size will obviously be less structurally sound than something that is larger in size and in thickness.

Translating that to lifting, the industry standard now is 3x3" 12-14 gauge steel. However you're paying a pretty premium for something that you'll effectively never need.

Unless you've got disposable income, want the best of the best or are lifting north of 700 lbs on the regular, a standard 2x2 rack is good for most lifters. On top of that, 2x2 tubes with 1" holes was the standard up until about 10 years ago when Rogue decided to tell everyone it wasn't good enough. Sort of like diamonds.

Have been watching this one for a month now. Really thinking about pulling the trigger. Missed out on the yellow one that was on sale last week on woot, but that one was the bare cage with no pully system.

I'd avoid this style of cage. The holes are too far apart it doesn't fit standard attachments from other brands.

Is the safety bar included? It's shown in photos but not on the list of included items.

Is that right? Why would they make it that way?

The holes are no further apart than any rack this price point, and can be worked around with, for example, some wood on the floor. Most don't bother.

But you're dead wrong about attachments. 2x2 is extremely common.

With the latpulldown stuff included this is a 10/10 deal as long as they sell a part that can hold ur knees while doing it. If not easy skip sadly.

Looks like a good deal. Anyone have this? How smooth is the lat pull down attachment?

Do you lift for gains and wins or do you lift so everyone can tell you have a cool squat rack?

Good deal. I paid this price for the yellow balance form cage only [aka hulk fitness] back during covid. Lat pulldown was on sale for 90 extra. Weight holders were 30 more.
