The diet does not contain HFCS; instead, it has Aspartame, an artificial chemical sweetener that is possibly carcinogenic to humans in large doses. However, the W.H.O [who.int]. states that it is safe, and the evidence against it remains inconclusive and unconvincing. In fact, one would need to consume more than 9–14 cans per day to exceed the acceptable daily intake and see any potential detrimental effects.

Regardless, I'm in for three cases at around $13 shipped via S&S—thanks, OP. It seems like you don't pay a deposit on the cans either, which is nice.

I have some of this right now. I got it because I love the seasonal cranberry gingerale, but unfortunatly I'm not a huge fan of this. To me this sorta tastes like liquified sweet tarts candy.

I got these the last time. They're OK. They do have that red dye 40 that's just been banned, however.

edit to add the link to the ban.. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/p...ovdelivery

Now I see the Zero Sugar price as $6.73 but the "regular" is still $4.25 (prices w/ S&S).

I will say, I bought the Zero version of these awhile back and really liked them. After a few 6-packs though I kind of got sick of them. Now the rest are just sitting in my fridge. I think the flavor is one of those things that seems really tasty at first but grows old with time.

What's funny is the cranberry one has more artificial flavorings in it than this cherry one

Ingredients list. It has a tiny amount of ginger extract "Less than 2% of ginger extract, cherry, and lime" ... so technically youre right, theres a smigen of ginger in it. The flavor is mostly from other flavorings in all these big brand ginger ales.

I would buy better ginger soda https://drinkreeds.com/products/r...ion-facts/

I just disposed of some of these. We bought it to try it not realizing it has 37g of sugar per can.
Dang, that's like two servings of ice cream. Who would rather drink their dessert?!

"The flavor is mostly from other flavorings..." You say that and yet there is more ginger extract in this ginger ale than there is 'other flavorings' as evidenced by the fact that it's listed before 'natural flavorings' in it's ingredients list. By the way, the very next ingredient after ginger in your Reed's ginger ale is also 'natural flavorings' so I guess by your logic the flavor of the Reeds is "mostly from other flavorings" too.

Good deal but High fructose corn syrup.

If Ray Barone drank it for 9 seasons of syndicated sitcom, I'd vote it's safe for consumption.

Youre completely right. Im completely wrong. Thanks so much.

I was remembering the law suit that accused several ginger ales not have ginger in them (and won). Details below if youre curious.

Edited: To add some interesting links about he law suit and ginger content.

Sadly, that probably appeals to some people, "Liquefied sweet tarts you say?".
