Yes, this is not the greatest and latest Macbook. However, for someone looking for a plenty of speedy storage without having to spend 2 grand, and a decently fast processor, this is a great deal. I got this (exact model from Woot) when it was around $2300 and am quite happy with the purchase. Mine was brand new when I opened it.

Do you think "Open Box" without Apple Care should be mentioned somewhere in your post?

No. Number one AppleCare is not even required. People pay that insurance for no reason at all on these doggone products. Number two the thing is already x amount of years old so you probably suspect it's going to be open box possibly. You want this one or you don't. Personally I would not get it just because of age and Apple's not wanting to support things even though it's more than capable with software updates eventually in the future. But it's definitely going to last I would say 5 to 8 years easily. And no need to be spoonful when you can click on a link and see all the details that you need. He bought it when it was more money and he's extremely happy with it. A lot of people are still rolling with their m1 Max for all those years which is why they bought years ago to last all of these years. It's going to last even more.
Such a bizarre reply. What AI am I speaking with?

If this was 64GB, or the 32GPU core M1 max, then it might be a steal.

Not a good AI, LOL! Just a guy who needs to just keep it moving. Carry on. But it is very funny people get butt hurt in these forums.

AppleCare = Apple Scare

People are afraid of these over engineered, high end products somehow breaking down, so they spend even more money out of fear.

Brilliant really.

Seems to me it would be a lot easier to keep it moving by just accurately describing what you are posting. You've posted a lot of words, so a few more ones would probably have drawn less (negative) attention. If it's new, no need to state. If it's refurbished or open box, put it in the title.

AppleCare covers accidental repairs like water spills or drops for a fraction of the cost it would be normally.

Well... they could have also not posted at all. Just saying... No matter how much a person decides to type out, they posted the link that all we have to do is go to it and read. They do not get paid to post deals. People always complain here and just want to be spoonfed.

I guess I am a person who is greatful for what it is at anytime. It does not take time at all to see if something works for me or not. What I do like is to read others experience and tips on these deals. Back in the old days, that is how i got into some hobbies with stuff I did not know I wanted.

Anywho... I have missed some pretty good deals because I usually stay away from SD because of all the threadcrapping. Today, there are some walmart deals and someone is made and wants to band YMMV posts... Looks like they have thumbed down all posts. Just a bunch of kids. I dont even post deals anymore. Keep them amongst another respecting group. SD is full of shills anyway. Yeah I miss the old days.

I will go away now LOL
