The N150 may be newer, but the iGPU on the N97 is better, and the cpu is slightly better (though its maybe 1-2% faster). The downside is that the TDP on the N150 is 6w vs the N97 at 12w. This is not a 1:1 relationship with power usage, but it does factor in.

What are your thoughts on this vs the GMKtek N97 system? That one has 12GB of DDR5 vs 16GB of DD4 on this one.

I bought the gmktek a few months ago, and I'm happy with it for my needs. The pros I see to the gmktek are faster ram (leading to perhaps slightly faster graphics performance), a microsd reader, 2x hdmi, and the portability of it. Cons: less ram, soldered ram, 2242 ssd is harder to upgrade, and the compactness can cause throttling issues in some extended cases.

The pros to this one seem to be more ram, expandability of ram and easier to upgrade ssd. Cons: slightly slower graphics.

This one seems better for use in an office or a low needs daily pc. The gmktek seems better for moving around often and if you really need just that extra few fps.

I think we're ultimately splitting at hairs with most of these n100/n150/n97 alder lake mini pcs. They all will get about the same performance. They are have probably similar reliability. And they likely all have terrible support if anything goes wrong with them, haha
