I have one of these, it's fantastic. No need to open the lid. Has two sensors, internal meat and ambient grill temperature.

I do not recommend these. I have two of them and the booster doesn't have an off switch and the app doesn't like to pass over the alarm preferences. I used them last week and it tracked the temp well, matched with my instant read thermometer. Then once it reached temp the alarm went off even though the alarm toggles was set to off in the app. I silenced the phone alarm and hit the S button on the booster to silence it. Then it went off again, and again, and again. I removed the profile and it still kept going off. Removed the food and waited for the probes to cool off. All the while having to silence the booster every few minutes. I was able to clean the probes and put them back in their respective boosters which finally ended the whole ordeal.

I also have 2 of the thermopro 4 probe wired models. I've had similar issues with the alarm preference not syncing on that one too but at least there I can just turn off the base unit.

These are a fun concept and I'll still use them on the rotisserie since they are wireless and I already have them but I wouldn't recommend them.
