Note that this is the "600" series, non Select Cut model. It has a single blade and 6 ft/lbs of torque vs 7 ft/lbs (or more, depending on configuration) on the select cut "800" series. Here's a comparison tool with more details:

Needed a mower to keep from hauling my mower back and forth to MIL's house. This isn't as good as the 7.5aH and 5aH from 2/24 but I think it may be my best bet. I already own two EGO blowers, trimmers, a hedge clipper and two 2.5 batteries so I might as well. I'll just leave the mower at her house.

Thanks for sharing, would you happen to have a link to share as well? thanks!

maybe this one? https://www.amazon.com/EGO-Propel...PZC81?th=1

Can't speak to the greenworks, but these ego self propelled guys are great. Been using one for a few years now. Only had one battery stop charging in that time. Replaced the blade once after I hit a stump with it. It's now just a back up mower for me, but still works great every time it comes out without any servicing. Was looking for a good deal to get another one for my parents. Thanks op!

Ego is better. Heard that it's difficult to get replacements part for greenworks though I am not sure.

I've only borrowed an EGO so I have no owner knowledge. That said, I wasn't particularly impressed with it. It was fine, but it didn't live up to the hype IMO. Personally I like my Toro better.

Unfortunately Toro has the same problem that I have with EGO which is a lack of tools for decent prices. For that I'd say Ryobi and Greenworks take the cake. Before getting a crazy deal on a Ryobi zero turn I was planning to switch to all greenworks. Despite years of abuse, my greenworks tools have worked perfectly with minimal maintenance and no need to replace parts.

I know it's an EGO thread but you ask so there you go.

My EGO mower is still kicking from 2016, was worry it will die on me when I heard the self propell wheel was making noise but the problem resolve itself after couple months. I'm thinking when should I get a new one just in case now...

You can upgrade the single blade EGOs to dual blade with this $25 kit. Super simple. I have this exact mower, which I purchased in 2018, and just upgraded it to dual blade this year. https://powerplusparts.com/produc...2107&_ss=r
Also, you're wrong about the torque. This is the LM2142SP... it has 8.3 ft/lbs. torque, same as the best of the 800 series. Only the 1000 series has more torque. https://egopowerplus.com/power-mo..._mode=list

Edit: Sorry, this listing has both the LM2123SP-2 and LM2142SP... I would highly recommend selecting the w/ 2 5 Ah battery option, which is the same price and comes with the more powerful LM2142SP.

This is a really good deal, however, unless you have a very small yard, that 6.0 Ah battery won't completely get the job done. It's great to have an extra battery, but 4.0 Ah won't last long either. I have had this mower for 2 years and really like it mowing my .45 acre yard, but you need at least at 7.5 Ah battery and even then, I have to finish up using my 5.0 Ah battery.

Seems like that one doesn't have touch drive?
