The garbanzo bean deal was better. I almost never see garbanzo beans that cheap.
Pinto beans on the other hand should be available at a similar price in bulk at Walmart, Sam's Club, or Costco. Like this 8 pound bag that should come out to $0.86/lb. I think I saw it on the shelf in my local store and not just online but I didn't examine it closely.

Prices noted, thank you. Question: aren't many products cheaper per unit when purchased in larger size/quantity? Wouldn't a comparison to 1lb from the local market be a more fair comparison?
