I have 3 onn TVs, 4 onn tablets, multiple BT headsets, random cables and accessories, and have yet to have an issue with any of them. Oldest tablet i think is from 2019, and still is usable (albeit slow) TVs have roku, worked with my sound bars, and I have been able to program them to my xfinity remote. Color and picture are good for what we use them for, which is cable and streaming. Havent tried gaming on any of them, so I cant comment on that. I have confidence in the brand (knowing its a budget house brand) and wouldnt hesitate purchasing more.

Most of the ONN TVs are made by tcl or Hisense. They vary by the size on who makes what but you can usually tell by the type of bezel it has. The top and sides I mean.

These TVs are actually great for the price. The quality is good overall (not as high quality as the more expensive brands), but it's great for multiple sources being used. The speakers are pretty bad, so a sound bar definitely should be considered.

I wish there was no rokuuuuu on a tv set.. you give your life away in a TOS blurb when you set the thing up and if you refuse the tos? Brick.. Roku is in the selling your info bizz just like amerzon and koogle. I would prefer to buy a set with no os that could cause problems with its core functions.. it is a good price at a time when prices could change. Maybe if I never connect it to the internet I could avoid that possibility..On a side note WM bought Visio, so maybe it is the last call on RO Koo ONN sets in their stores, as they are expected to expand Vizio os to their flavor.
Not sure I understand your concern. I've had Roku streaming devices for like 15 yrs and never had a problem. You need to setup an account so that your app selections are saved and during account creation you are asked for a credit card but you can skip past that and not enter anything. In this day and age everything tied to the internet is going require an account creation.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I have 4 onn TVs, 3 are 4+ yrs old and I just bought a 2nd 24" for my kitchen. I'm so pleased/satisfied with the TV price/performance that I specifically searched for onn for my new 24". I like that I can load in my Plex app and stream all my media and that Roku has it's own media streaming app that can play media off a NAS or shared folder on your network.

Thanks OP.

Just got one of these, and for the price is a decent tv, lots of inputs and easy to set up. Just in time to replace an old Samsung that had multiple lamp lens fallout, causing bright spots all over the screen.
Not a fancy tv, just a good tv for the money.

Spread-foot design definitely makes me thing this is a TCL rebrand. This is a good deal, i bought a 48" roku-branded tv that's probably a tcl underneath for 200 last summer. If the Roku OS is a dealbreaker for you normally just do first time setup, make a dummy account, update the firmware, and then disconnect it from the internet and plug in a streaming device to an HDMI port.

How does this compare to the 55" Insignia F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV deal?
