I love this machine. I don't think cleaning is burdensome, just have to hand rinse the frother and throw out coffee grounds every once in a while. Also the inside unit needs a water rinse every couple of weeks. This may seem like a lot but only takes a minute or so.

Also, make sure to get beans that are not oily, will preserve the life of the machine.

If you click on "Other sellers on amazon" area, you will see units sold by Amazon resale. The condition of my unit was "Condition: Used - Acceptable" and sold by amazon. My price was $314.86 back in Oct, 2024. Looks like the price went up to $407.

Every espresso requires cleaning. It's either you clean after making each cup of espresso or you clean the whole machine every few weeks. Can't ever get around this.
