I own, or have owned, all of the Ryobi impacts and this is by far the weakest and most useless impact of the bunch. This is the brushed and not the HP model, and the batteries are the low end non-HP batts as well so you're buying a whole kit of stuff that you'll want to upgrade.

If you need something for tight spaces just get the 4-mode 1/4" brushless HP impact driver instead, it produces about the same amount of effective torque and isn't a single use case tool.

That took some digging, but this does not include the 3/8" impact shank, it includes the 1/4".

HD page is a bit confusing, with both text and pictures indicating either a 3/8 impact wrench or 1/4 impact driver. Product information indicates the model is PCL250K2SB which corresponds to the 3/8 wrench but ymmv.

I've always thought this tool is large for a 3/8" impact. Sort of defeats the purpose. I bought the more compact one for getting into tight spaces.
However, if you just want an impact wrench to use with your 3/8'-drive sockets, this is a pretty good price with the included batteries and charger.

I would wait. These are not the better batteries and supposedly Ryobi days is around the corner. You probably want at least HP batteries.

I love mine. I've taken off lug nuts on my RAV4 no problem, but what I really like is its handy size fitting in tight places, and for bolts that are a bear. Great tool.
