Yeah, it'll be fine. Might charge from 0-100% a few minutes slower, but I'm sure that's fine with most folks.
Let us do a survey here. Who else owns more than 10 chargers and is still interested in buying? And what is this syndrome called?
Too late, thanks to Slickdeals I already have a charger for every wall outlet.

The wattage is too high for the USB A port to charge older electronics. "Additional 12W USB-A port". I carry an old Apple 5W charger for this purpose.

That's not how USB chargers works. The device tells the charge it only needs 5V 1A and the charge will only supply that amount.

I got the 2 port charger last time and it's amazing. The flip plug for storage feels really premium and strong and the fact that it plugs in side ways is underrated to take up less space on a power strip or wall plug. In for another 3 and hopefully will never need to buy another charger again until we move beyond USB-C...

That's not good enough, because it only confirms that the product meets USB specifications for data transfer and power delivery but says nothing about the product's safety.
Its UL listed.

Since my iPhone doesn't know how to do this, I use a device that talks to the phone via bluetooth using their app, to only charge to 80% (or whatever % you like). It is called a Chargie from Chargie.org. I have been using them for years. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is at 98% battery health and my partner's at 99% after 2.5 years. We don't use fast chargers either. I think the app shows that it maxes out at about 7 or 8 watts when charging, so that's lower than 2 amps at 5 volts.

Nowadays, I become the "human PPS". I set the alarm clock to 30 or 40 minutes when I charge the phones. Never exceeds 80%. Works great.

Thanks for letting me know this app. I think I prefer to set a countdown timer. This afternoon I charged my phone for 20 minutes from 35% to 65%. It will last me a minimum of 2 days.

I don't like fast charging. It heats up the battery more, degrading it more. I prefer using slow chargers like the Samsung travel adapter that came with my last phone. Lower watts and amps are much better for the phone battery. I prefer longevity over convenience.

Note: Output of my Samsung adapter is 9V and 1.67 amps or 5V and 2 amps.

I'm usually in the same boat. For me, swapping literally all my charging cables to magnetic POGOs where you leave the adapter in phone is a game changer. They usually max out in 10-15W range (3A Max), which charges plenty fast for me. Even when running 9V on mostly dead phone, they tend to stay closer to 15-20W. Makes it easy to buy beefy charger and still get convenient charge

Used to buy cables from AliExpress, but this Amazon deal is fine now that prices shifted around: [Bojianxin 540 Rotation Magnetic] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092MV7...b_ap_share

Samsung TRIO (brick not wireless version) ( EP-T6530NBEGUS ) 65 watt does Super fast 2.0. C PD PPS UL listed. 1 yr warranty.

I've had it in use 24/7 for 19 months. It barely gets warm. $17 from a past SD with 8 thumbs up yet this Offerfox with no warranty gets 176 T.U. go figure.

For what it's worth, these do have a 90 day warranty from woot. Obviously not as great as 1 yr, but it's something

I buy deals like this ALL THE TIME. I have a kid that's soon to be a senior in high school, and another in her third year of college. They constantly lose chargers or cables, leave them somewhere accidentally, break them, etc. I keep a plentiful stock of stuff at our house for such occasions. Never can have too many.

There may also be something to the "thrill" of finding a good cable or charger deal and feeling like you must buy them, I won't deny that.

fear of abandonment.

I think its a mental flashback/scar to that one or few times you ran out or were close to running out of battery and had to make/take some desperate measures to remedy that situation.

That situation, stress, and anxiety is cemented in the mind just like the holocaust "NEVER AGAIN!" LOL

QC is a dying standard really. Qualcomm has already opened up QC4.0 devices to interoperate with USD-PD which is the cleary open standard winner going forward.

So this charger clearly supports QC 4.0 with USB-PD 3.0 PPS standards.

From the official website it says it's USB-IF certified.
Assuming it is the same UL listing as the 60W Otterbox; it would be E472287

This is for newish devices only. Old devices won't be able to tell the charger. I have a few devices like this and they only take charge from the USB 2.0 port on a computer or a dumb 5V charger.
