Yeah, it'll be fine. Might charge from 0-100% a few minutes slower, but I'm sure that's fine with most folks.
Let us do a survey here. Who else owns more than 10 chargers and is still interested in buying? And what is this syndrome called?
Too late, thanks to Slickdeals I already have a charger for every wall outlet.

AFAIK the PPS charger actually monitors the temperature, and I have noticed with a PPS fast charger my phone stays cool.
Edit: The phone should support PPS (duh)
PPS means the power source has the capability to vary its output on a finer level, and not be restricted to the standard fixed power profiles, should the device request it.

That allows the device (which controls what it consumes) a much wider range of voltage and current to best fit its charging strategy and its particular objectives. Electing for a higher voltage, at lower current, vs. lower voltage, at higher current, will allow things to run cooler, with the same power level.

Nothing to do with termination, as someone else suggested, if even jokingly.

I bought this as a travel charger and needed the regular usb slot to charge my Playstation Vita. This charger will not charge a Playstation Vita. Who knows what other devices the usb port won't charge. If your buying this for the regular usb port to charge legacy devices, I would advise you stay away.
The wattage is too high for the USB A port to charge older electronics. "Additional 12W USB-A port". I carry an old Apple 5W charger for this purpose.

UL or ETL listed?
From the official website it says it's USB-IF certified.

It's a 5v USB-A port. It should have no issue charging any old devices. The only difference between this port and your old 5 watt charger is that this one offers up to 2.4 amps, whereas yours can only do 1 amp. The device being changed controls the amperage.

Check the manufacturer manual. Some laptops have a minimum voltage and/or wattage they'll accept. For example, some Lenovo legion laptops made in the last few years will only accept 20v USB-C power at 4.75 amps or more. This is listed in the manual, and testing confirms this to be the case. Most laptops will charge on 60 watts, though demanding applications could use more than 60 watts, which would cause the battery to slowly discharge while plugged in. That said, if you're browsing the web, watching a video, or using office, 60 watts should be plenty to run your laptop and charge it at the same time.

How is Woot selling these for so low while the Otterbox website sells them for MUCH higher?

Manufacturers websites are usually the most expensive place to buy, and everything is sold at MSRP. They don't want to screw all their distributors and sell them cheaper than they can and it looks bad. Usually if something is on sale, I'm the manufacturers website. It is at their distributors as well in a coordinated effort. But of course, isn't always the case. Places like Woot buy tons of an overstock of an item and just sell it cheap. The "rules" for places like woot are different because you can't just go there and type in any product and it's going to be in stock and a good deal like a regular distributor like Best Buy's website, etc.

I'd probably buy another one if this was a 100w charger. I just picked up that 140w 2 port one from BB a couple days ago.

That's not good enough, because it only confirms that the product meets USB specifications for data transfer and power delivery but says nothing about the product's safety.

This video on YouTube shows the UL Listed markings on the back. Can't make out the listing number, though.

I don't like fast charging. It heats up the battery more, degrading it more. I prefer using slow chargers like the Samsung travel adapter that came with my last phone. Lower watts and amps are much better for the phone battery. I prefer longevity over convenience.

Note: Output of my Samsung adapter is 9V and 1.67 amps or 5V and 2 amps.

The heat isn't degrading your batteries. It's the state of charge you charge to and how low you let it go. Also the length of time it sits dead or fully charged.

Samsung TRIO (brick not wireless version) ( EP-T6530NBEGUS ) 65 watt does Super fast 2.0. C PD PPS UL listed. 1 yr warranty.

I've had it in use 24/7 for 19 months. It barely gets warm. $17 from a past SD with 8 thumbs up yet this Offerfox with no warranty gets 176 T.U. go figure.

Fast chargers are soooo helpful and disappear to every available socket in the house.
I was a my wife's friend's house the other day and she doesn't have a single fast charger for her and her kid and my phone was nearly dead. My wife had to grab something from home so I had her bring me a fast charger, and her mind was blown when my phone went from 15% to 30% in minutes. I'm going to giver her one of these to bring her into the modern age.

It's the SD's BUY FIRST, THINK LATER-phobia syndrome. Cheers
