Yeah, it'll be fine. Might charge from 0-100% a few minutes slower, but I'm sure that's fine with most folks.
Let us do a survey here. Who else owns more than 10 chargers and is still interested in buying? And what is this syndrome called?
Too late, thanks to Slickdeals I already have a charger for every wall outlet.

This is for newish devices only. Old devices won't be able to tell the charger. I have a few devices like this and they only take charge from the USB 2.0 port on a computer or a dumb 5V charger.

Which device? They need to seriously fark up it up. Even USB flashlights that cost $2-3 can negotiate the rate.

Handheld food chopper and a white noise machine, among other things. My point is these are the devices that I have that can't charge by these fast chargers. I can't fix them obviously so I just have to live with it.

This is called charger hoarding syndrome. I gave away those 30w or 45w single port chargers from back in the days and I still have a bunch. I'm actually quite impressed with these Otterbox branded chargers, quality is good and quite cheap compared to other so-called name brands

72W at this price? From a good USA brand? Buy now, self-reflect later.

Buy with caution. Otterbox has gone incredibly downhill. Every charge or product I've purchased from them in the last 3-4 years has died within a few months.

I think this was common with some older Bluetooth earbuds with really small batteries. I had a power bank that had a "low current" mode for this purpose.

In these cases the device should just not charge, they shouldn't be damaged.

I bought 6 of these to add around the house and replace some that disappeared over time. They are pretty bulky so may not be great in some power strips or tight areas but they've worked well for me and I like the price.

I don't like fast charging. It heats up the battery more, degrading it more. I prefer using slow chargers like the Samsung travel adapter that came with my last phone. Lower watts and amps are much better for the phone battery. I prefer longevity over convenience.

Note: Output of my Samsung adapter is 9V and 1.67 amps or 5V and 2 amps.
I need fast charging—forget the slow stuff. My OnePlus 13 jumps from 20% to 80% in like 15 minutes. The only problem is I can't find an adapter besides the OEM one that works with SuperVOOC.

I find just using one of the crappy cables is usually good enough. I keep a few around that seem to charge my older and cheap ass devices. Like the six inch, microscopically thin ones that come with disposable Chinese items.

Since my iPhone doesn't know how to do this, I use a device that talks to the phone via bluetooth using their app, to only charge to 80% (or whatever % you like). It is called a Chargie from Chargie.org. I have been using them for years. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is at 98% battery health and my partner's at 99% after 2.5 years. We don't use fast chargers either. I think the app shows that it maxes out at about 7 or 8 watts when charging, so that's lower than 2 amps at 5 volts.
Android has the charge to 80% feature built in. Surprised iphone does not.... well not really that would decrease sales.

Samsung phones have that feature as well.
