It's not clear to me what exactly makes this a woman's pad?

to good of a deal to pass up. I use the ether extreme for elk hunting and it's insanely comfortable and warm. I bought the large version of this pad for my boys to use. I'm tempted to buy a second one honestly...

Narrower at the shoulders, but wider between the hips and knees. This shape significantly enhances comfort for those who sleep in a figure-4 position (or on their sides or stomach) by giving them the room they need to move while they sleep.

I looked into it and it's more insulation and the shape is different. Lengthwise, the women regular = unisex small and women large = unisex regular. The women large actually starts wider at the shoulder and extends at the hips before tapering off compared to the unisex regular.

Read more recent reviews for this line on REI and a lot of people note design issues that cause leaking after only a seasons use. Decided to cancel my order.

Thanks op! This is perfect for an upcoming camping trip. I just bought a Coleman at Ollie's for around the same amount. Will definitely be a return!
