I'm trying to find a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that is loud enough, for my son to use outside, at skateparks, for several people to listen to. I've gotten him several portable Bluetooth speakers, over the past few years, and none of them seem to be as loud as he would actually like them to be. I have specifically gotten him multiple Anker Soundcore portable Bluetooth speakers, one of which, was the Rave Neo, I believe. And while the Soundcore Rave Neo a nice speaker and has some good sound, it just did not play music as loudly as he would like it to be able to.
So, if you wouldn't mind providing me with some feedback about this JBL portable Bluetooth speaker, I would really appreciate it.
And if anyone has any suggestions about what a relatively affordable Bluetooth speaker might be, that would be loud enough to be enjoyed outdoors, at a skatepark, I would really appreciate some recommendations are suggestions.
Also, thank you very much to the OP, for posting this deal on here, for others to see.
The only gripe I have is the connection when linking two speakers doesn't seem to be consistently reliable, even at short distances. Other than that, you can't go wrong at this price point.

JBL Partybox is great for most outdoor uses.
If the skatepark is in a quiet area with less traffic or freeway noise this would work ok.
You can go with a JBL Encore which provides a lot of sound outdoors. It does have a good sound outdoors and can be heard ok.
For a skate park, this won't provide enough sound in my opinion.
You will be able to hear some at a short distance. It all depends on the environment noise.
If you really need sound, I would go with a portable power pack like EcoFlow Delta 2 and buy a good speaker like the EV ZLX BT. You're looking at around $1,000 for the setup. A bit steep of a price.
Those two items combined run a very good audio that can be heard in all the skate park for sure.
I actually use this setup for parade or presentations at an event. We have a group that dances and to ensure great audio at an event, I just bring this setup and a microphone to allow our group to dance. I've never had any negative issues with hearing the music even in a noisy environment.
I had some portable Bose speakers could work as well. I was inside at a hotel pool and someone else had this Bose Bluetooth that held well for most frequencies and I could hear it and enjoy the music from a pretty good distance.

I think for you case a boombox 3 by JBL is one and done. It's literally built for outdoors , pools, water, rain. Seen guys on reddit bringing it on construction sites running on battery 7-8 hours a day no problem. MSRP is 500 I think but I'm sure if you snoop around long enough there will be deals that'll pop up. But yeah you want a no fuss solution cables, charging, all that, Boombox 3 is the way to go.
Actually on best buy its 400 right now

Both will connect? Is there a way to use all three?
