For the money i really like these controllers. They are rechargeable and use either 2.4ghz or Bluetooth . apps like steam, es-de, and others recognize them right out of the box. I have way less connectivity issues since ditching my Xbox controllers for these.
I imagine these are good, and I love the "ernge and turquoz"-colored one. That said, I much prefer controllers with AA batteries. I have a smart AA/AAA charger and high-quality rechargeable batteries. If one of those batteries dies, I just pitch/recycle the battery. If a built-in rechargeable battery dies, you have to located a replacement or pitch the entire controller.

i just bought this in blueberry color for 28 dollars from 8bitdo website, so my daughters could use it to play Bluey video game on my PC. got that game from a humble bundle with others.
2.5 dollars isnt so bad to miss out on though.
with it sitting right in front of me, i can tell you I like how all the buttons feel, but I am not a controller player, preferring mouse and keyboard.
If anyone is wondering the difference between the 2C and C: "The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is an improved version of the original Ultimate C, offering features like Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, remappable L4/R4 buttons, and wear-resistant joystick rings, along with Bluetooth support, according to a Reddit thread. The Ultimate C, on the other hand, lacks these improvements and is a more basic, budget-friendly option" - AI

Anyone know if this will work with a steam deck and more importantly will it wake up the device? This is for the non OLED (lcd) version of the steam deck. I hear the Bluetooth connectivity differs.
Agree to liking this controller I bought it to use it on my pc when I don't feel like K+M, but I will say the handles for your hand grip is very off putting; throw is straight down vs outward like an xbox controller and my hands will feel it
You'd want the Ultimate C wired version for that because of Microsoft making it nearly impossible for anyone to manufacture a third party wireless controller that works with Xbox One/Series. It's a very good controller if you are fine with the wired aspect.

Save your money and just get the xbox/ps5/switch pro controller, brought two 8bitdo and they all end up with drift issue. when reaching out to customer support, they just send me the link to buy the replacement part.
These have Hall Effect switches and will not drift.
