Costco has Kirkland 40oz $13.99 all the time
Just for reference....the best price that I could find for whole cashews is at Walmart. Their house brand ("Great Value") are on sale currently at $13.88 for 30 oz. This is 44 oz. at a (very) slightly higher price. This one wins! I only wish that this came in a plastic jar (like the one sold at Walmart). These resealable bags are questionable, as they don't always provide a 100% reliable seal.

Significantly better quality nuts too. Ditto for Sam's Club. These Amazon budget cashews are small, oily, and not very salty (in a bad way). They remind me more of peanuts than cashews.

That would be significantly more, right? $20 for 44 oz.

I didn't do the math, but (as I mentioned previously), this is a better deal (with the addl. 15% off coupon) than the Walmart house brand.

I disagree 100%! I don't know which Amazon cashews you had (or when you had them), but these are the exact opposite of your description! Most of them are a decent size (not smaller than average), they're not oily at all, and they have more than enough salt. I've tried many different brands of cashews over the years, and these are some of the best that I've had (and I'm fussy about cashews)! I would definitely purchase them again....although, I've found that even the name brands can vary in quality (based upon the origin and the batch).
The only problem (as I mentioned in another post) is that a good deal of them were somewhat pulverized in shipping! The pieces of cashews taste fine, but there are too many damaged ones. I'm concerned about a replacement (if that's an option), as they'll likely get damaged as well, so I'll get a refund.

The price is good, but many people don't have access to a Costco location, and they'd need to pay for shipping....making this a better deal overall. And if they're not brutalized in shipping (an all too common problem with Amazon shipments), these happen to be very good quality cashews!....assuming that you're getting them from the same batch as the bag that I received (which, of course, was brutalized in shipping!).

Glad to hear they've upped their game!

Either that, or I got lucky (except for all of the broken ones). I recently purchased a can of Planters cashews. They're supposed to be the "gold standard". Not even close! They were over-roasted (almost burnt) and hard! They should've been tossed in the trash, yet they made it into cans! These "Happy Belly" cashews were significantly better!...but perhaps I got a good batch? Who knows? I hope that they're like this consistently, since I'd definitely order them again....and pray that they're not overly abused in shipping (like these were)!

A bit more detail might help....did you already purchase this item, or did you not purchase it, and you're getting that message regardless? Details matter.
