I got a four pack the last time this was offered. I found these to be a bit hit or miss. Two were fine, nice colors, changing, on dark, off light. One was stuck in the yellow color and would not change no matter what I tried. The last one stayed on even when I put it in the sunshine coming in the house. So, a 50% rate for me, I wouldn't order again, but the two are OK. I did comment to Amazon on these two defective ones, but no response from them.

It is. You don't want the really cheap not UL listed cheap crap. It may be the wrong polarity like some 6 outlet direct plug in outlets I had. More than half were reversed AC polarity. (Yes there is a polarity in AC). And the internal wires were too thin for 1850 watts /15 amps.
Always try to buy UL Listed components.

Thanks, will give it a shot
Low brightness may be too dim to matter, but I would avoid blue light above the headboard. Blue could disturb sleep circadian rhythm, red has the smallest effect, (green is sort of midway but great for headaches, mom's)

I just bought those L Lohas ones on sale. Should I go with a known brand like GE instead?

You mentioned relatively cheap power where you live? Can I enquire as to the general area. I'm in SoCal paying a $317 monthly electric bill for my 1 bedroom apartment.
Wow…that's a high bill. I live just outside DTLA in a 3 bedroom house, family of 5. Our highest bill is like $200, maybe $250, and that's in the summer with the ac blasting.

I'm glad to hear your city didn't fu€k you like so many other SoCal cities have. I'm paying tier 3 prices for my power. I'm not sure how I allegedly use so much power. Two computers, a modem, router, and an 80"tv with sound bar and the refrigerator are pretty much the only things I have using power
