This Samsung Music Frame can work w/ your Samsung Q990D soundbar & TV only if you have a 2024 Samsung TV that supports Q-Symphony 3.0.
With that setup, the Music Frame, soundbar, and TV speakers can all play audio together in sync for a fuller sound experience.
Setup requires connecting all devices to the same Wi-Fi and using the SmartThings app.
Without a 2024 Q-Symphony TV, the Music Frame works only as a standalone wireless speaker via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or AirPlay.
For $125 this is def worth it if you have the above mentioned and plan to use it in concert with Q-symphony.
Edit:
Connectivity Options - tv + soundbar + 1 picture frame
Or tv - 2 picture frames and no soundbar

Except you are limited to 1 speaker from previous threads and that seems awkward.
Seems about 35% of people regret buying these, rating it 2 stars or lower. Even as wifi speakers, you can't seem to pair them consistently for stereo imaging. Yes, they have airplay and chromecast, but they apparently drop WiFi connectivity when more than one is connected. For me that's a pass.
I have this speaker which happens to be in a frame shape.
My assessment - if you look at this purchase as purely a speaker for use in an office or bedroom and thru the lens of someone who only paid $125 and understands what you are buying this for - this is a great bang for buck. If you are wanting this to replace your surround system and are wearing the I paid $400 for this glasses, then yes not a great purchase at all.
Bluetooth connectivity sucks big time…
But … AirPlay 2 makes this extremely useful and now I can use this with any AirPlay 2 speaker. SmartThings app isn't bad either.
$100 would be a strong buy - $125 is def worth a look and see (hear) and if not up to par return it - if it had not been for AirPlay 2, i would absolutely not recommend this speaker.
Not only no regrets - I bought one more for my work office.
