I already have 8 separate chargers for my 29 batteries, yet this somehow feels like a need.

I just have too many charger already and i rarely use my fast chargers since it's not good for the batteries. I'll probably nail a bunch of 'em to a board or something and splice a few of the AC cables together. A construction site/contractor project where there aren't enough batteries without fast-charging is where this would be ideal.

These are good for high capacity (9aH+) batteries, but don't make a significant difference for smaller capacities. Granted I only have a single bay fast charger. On my 5aH batteries, the fast charger beats my 4amp charge by about 20 minutes on a battery depleted so that the tool cuts off on. 50 min vs 70 min. Anecdotal tho…

Thanks for sharing. Its a good price for a Dewalt unit. But it is still overpriced compared to all the tool makers 6 up chargers that can be had for $99 on sale. I want one but am passing.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank AmusedMeal841

I have this and it's great for work but honestly, if I didn't have it there I wouldn't use it at home.

I can just use 2 chargers to do the same thing as this is overkill.

At work, we have radios, fans and power drills which is why I just keep it there.

Really convenient to have 4 ports all in one unit. Charges more quickly that the 10 standard chargers, and means less tangles of cords etc. Mounts to the wall super easy with the through holes, and has an on board fan for cooling etc.
I paid more for mine, and I'm actually considering a second since it opened up a lot of shelf space for me.
