I'm not sure how good of a deal this is. I am looking to spend some bigger money and get a high-end rig for gaming. What do you all think of this unit? I don't want to spend this much, but really want the 5090 card, and I am not a fan of the current intel line either. I run 3 displays, and one is an ultrawide, so basically it is 4K alone. Thanks!

Where would you go about getting one for that much less? I am willing to build it as well. I used to buy from Newegg, but the reports of scams and return issues make me hesitate.

Thanks!

I just built my gaming comp and virtually all components were from Newegg with zero issues. I didn't use any of their third party vendors unless it was the manufacturer of the piece. I ordered two GPU's (better one came available) and the return was flawlessly easy.

All in all, you're effectively paying $3-4k for the 5090 when you subtract the cost of all the other parts of the system.

it should be stable at around 20-30fps if you play it in 720p, all low settings with dlss 4 set to performance

So if you don't already know, you can buy all the parts from pc part picker if you are not familiar with compatibility or buy direct from micro center. Just use part picker to have an idea of the cost and compatibility. The plus side here is even with the extra cost but they will RMA everything for you and swap it out etc if you buy from them and it's been a while but last I checked it was 250 for a build none liquid cooled. If a part fails.
Far better and you choose everything for maximum performance. Not just the crap they have which saves them crazy money

Feels like this is riding the 5090 pricing/availability curve, where we don't know the future prices of 5090s with availability and tariffs.
Currently:
$3000+ video card. $700 processor at current prices. $400 motherboard. $200 RAM. + disk, cooler, case.
