The QM7 is also for sale for $480 or so. I might be wrong about this, but I think it's objectively a better TV despite being older and cheaper.

It's largely the same TV with newer firmware.

I'd buy a discounted QM7 over the QM7K any day.

I have a 98" QM7. It's great. I updated firmware to v201 which is actually QM7K firmware. It added filmmaker mode which is excellent picture quality. There is beta firmware floating around too. V201 was considered an official release so it's easy to flash with a USB drive. Beta versions are more involved to install.

Can you share links to more info to v201. Is it supposed to be publicly available update in the future? Have you had and bugs or issues?
