In for one 6900 XT. Sold 3080 10GB last month for $400 on Ebay. Been looking for graphics card with 12 or more VRAM. Consider this purchase as "Hopeful the GPU market will return to some realistic level but, prepared if it doesn't". GPU prepper? lol

Nvidia has already suggested they are raising prices 10 to 15% due to tsmc cost increases. That's not even taking into consideration tariff issues. Prices only go up 😂

Pretty bad deal considering an RX 7800 XT is $549 BRAND NEW right now and performs better at 1440p across 95% of games.

but what about the 100s of Bs that TSMC is "investing" in US plants... wasn't that suppose to drive our prices down when the sweet sweet tariffs drove companies to come move to our awesome nation??????

Still using my XFX 6900 XT. I stream on YouTube and don't have any issues running every game at 1440p. Didn't see a reason to upgrade unless it was a 7900 XTX at a good price, which I cannot find.

I don't think anybody ever argued on-shoring production was supposed to drive down prices. The opposite actually. The argument they were using was for security purposes to ensure we had full access to it given our dependence on it.

I picked up two 7800xt for $350 before the GPU market went crazy.. but now they're idle as I got 9070xt to replace them.

Better as in 10 percent or less? No this would be a better deal but a 7800xt would hold up longer for driver support.
