Unsure why this is getting downvoted. It's the cheapest price on a 5080 laptop you can find. There was a MSI Vector with a 255HX processor and 32gb of ram for $2,199.00. That model seems to be discontinued though.

Wondering the same. Looking at grabbing it and trying it out for 60 days. If I don't like it or find a better deal I'll return it. I have a zephyrus g16 4080 I've been using which i got open box 2k. Really good deal BUT not optimal for gaming.

I have that model, only had it for a few days but it's great so far. I'm coming from a 2080 super (Lenovo Legion 7i) so not surprising that it's so much quicker.

Yeah the price is pretty solid considering the 5080 is equivalent to the 4090 for all intent and purposes. Don't think I've seen a 4090 laptop go lower than this price point.
But for the 16 GB RAM, this would be perfect. No OLED to waste away the battery.Edit: It's expandable? Didn't know the Ultra 2 series had expandable memory.
yes it has expandable memory. I bought this for 2499 a week ago and upgraded to 96gb (48x2) memory and 8tb (4tbx2) nvme. I was able to get a price match from bestbuy through chat
Mine arrived yesterday. Upgraded the ram to 32gb and it's definitely a powerful machine. Speakers are pretty bad but with the included Nahimic software I was able to make them sound passable.

What battery though? 😂
This could be running headless and still would chew through battery in 1 hour.
