But you can find, like, a decade+ of threads of people documenting putting 2x the amount ARK lists for their CPU, and having their machine work fine. Hell, I can make this one of those threads: I've attached a screengrab from my old QNAP TS-453A, configured with twice the RAM ARK would have you believe its processor could support. It's been running for seven or eight years with no issues.
It's confusing, and Intel could be clearer; ARK is a super useful database, but when working with a system with a restrictive cap, it's worth googling if anyone before you has tried to go over said cap. If you wanna be conspiratorial about it, you could say that Intel wants you to go with a higher-end processor to get more memory supported. Regardless the reason, I'm certain that some N150 systems would have no problem with some 32GB RAM configurations; this isn't even the first I've heard of it.
Just thought I would ask, because I'm interested in building a lab and it always comes up with these things.

the BIOS file is provided online if you want to take a look at it more closely.

*update* Answering my own question, according to perplexity you just take bottom panel off although it noted the ssd is a m.2 SATA (not nvme) SSD which I didn't notice previously.
