Is going through Paypal going to affect the Discover 5% for Instacart? In another thread a couple people said they didn't get the 5%.

Just so that people know this is 30% cash back and not 30% off. I used this offer on Costco Same Day Delivery thru Costco website and paid using PayPal. I bought the Sonos Arc soundbar for $405 on Saturday. Now I see 10,000 points in my PayPal account that I am assuming can be redeemed for $100.

Just a heads up, it's cheaper to use this through the instacart app and pay via PayPal than to use Costco same day

I compared prices and everything was $.50 or more on every item.

Hey, just a quick clarification since this is my first post here:
1. This is cashback, not an instant discount.
2. I already received the iPad I ordered through Costco via Instacart, and everything tracked fine.
• Discover shows 5% cashback already in my transactions.
• The extra 5% will come later as part of Discover's first-year Cashback Match.
3. PayPal's 30% cashback offer works on any store within Instacart, but only some (like Costco) qualify as groceries for Discover. I haven't tested others.
4. Make sure to activate the PayPal offer before using it on Instacart—it won't apply automatically. It is exclusive to only some people.
5. Yes, Instacart Costco via PayPal still qualifies for Discover's 5% grocery cashback. It shows up as *PAYPAL INSTACART COST in the transaction.

Watch your emails. After I ordered with the $100 paypal deal Instacart sent me a $30 off $100 coupon for Costco.

I've used this deal a few times and it works. The only thing is the points take up to 90 days to process so it's a waiting game before you can access it. I am still waiting for the cashback from my last purchase.

when do the points show? i activated the offer, and then I paid using paypal through instacart, but the saved offer disappeared when I checked on paypal.com again? does that mean that I used the offer? i can't find the "pending" points from paypal anywhere?
