It's crazy how much this has gone up. CCC shows the regular price was just a little over $40 as recent as Fall 2022. In the past few months the regular price is almost $60, almost 50% increase in a couple of years.
You can find them in Walmart stores for $20 or $10 in late September or so. Fertilizer will not expire. Stock up around that time.

How to apply it? Just pour on the ground? Will it be a problem if too much?

A spreader. It'll tell you the spread setting on the bag.

Yeah you want to use a broadcast spreader and use the guidance on the bag. If it's a Scott's spreader it'll have the exact setting for you on there. This is a great general purpose fertilizer for mid season

I know it says any type of grass but just want to make sure. Would this be ok for centipede grass?

Doubt it. I've been tracking this for years. Also this product is made in Canada so you know, tariffs.

The bag came with a special back in April at HD. . Buy llrg. Lawn food and bag of ? . Both avg'd $30 bucks. People need not wait for the season because clearances and sales happen , off season or at the beginning/end of the growing season.

I picked up 5k vigaro for $3 and 15k for 7 back in early March at HD. Seems like city Hd stores had more outdoor leftovers than rural HD stores

Follow the label or try to apply 1 lb of nitrogen per 1k sq ft.

1lb of n / .32(%n from the label) = 3.125 lbs. So measure out 3 1/8lbs of the granules per 1k of lawn you plan to treat.
