I'm a big fan of the "flying squirrel" from this brand, seems to fly well and really has held up against my dog that destroys everything. https://www.amazon.com/Chuckit-Fl...00027467O/. Anyone know how this "flyer" holds up?

In my opinion, I don't really like this tail-spin flyer. Also, I bought the flying squirrel and I didn't like how that flew. I kind of feel like mine was defective as it just kept turning to the side, so maybe it's how I was throwing.
I REALLY like the chuck it paraflight and bought like 6 of them when they were on a deal over the last couple years. I feel that the tail-spin flyer is a tad more durable, but I feel like the "webbing" (the center part?) is more centered where the paraflight it's on the top of the rim. I feel like the paraflight gets much better air than the tail-spin.
Of course with durability, YMMV. I've gone through 3 paraflights by now and my dog is NOT a heavy chewer as we don't let him gnaw on his toys. Both of these are canvas type material and the tail-spin seems like it's just a tad thicker. But the paraflight rim and flight make me like that one more. It might have slightly reduced durability though.
but at $4, it's worth a try! any dog toy should be treated as "disposable" anyway.

Anyone have these Chew King kong knockoffs? Reviews look great for them but the difference in size between L and XL is staggering. The brand recommends L for 25-50lb dogs but there are people with 100lb dogs who say the XL is too big. Apparently the XL holds an entire can of wet food which is overkill for what I want it for.

Edit: F it, i just got them. they were cheap.

Alternative use case. The tailspin flyers work great for beersbie yard game. You can chuck it super hard without killing your buddies fingers.

Holds up well but I used it on grass. The glow in the dark edges are mediocre at best. flies really well at low speeds. And in the wind will boomerang right back to you.

I'll give these a shot. I usually get the Nerf 9" 2 pack on amazon for around $13, so this is a decent price. We'll see how they hold up. I usually go through the Nerf ones in a few months.
