Edit--From what I can tell, they require you to create an account to buy stuff. No, thanks.
Tried to buy it via calling in because I didn't want to create an account just to buy this hard drive, got disconnected 4 times, on the 5th try it took me to an affiliate company that had zero knowledge of the website, the 6th try I got an Indian dude named Henry (as so many Indian fellows are...) that wanted me to accept a $100 gift card for giving him a lot of personal info, on the 7th try, I got another Indian guy named Mark that wanted the same thing and neither would pass me up the chain.
Not worth it.

lol. chargeback? paypal dispute? years after the purchase?
I was replying to a person asking specifically about warranties being honored after the drive was opened, not necessarily years later. Read rather than assume.
