This was $849 for edu with $50 credit 3 days ago. Most people get it $899 no problem with edu. With epp you get $779 for the combo but I wasn't able to replicate. The G9 OLED is quite frequently going for about $700-$750, when deducting all kinds of monitors and gift cards they made combo with.

This is the price range for 57" dual 4k. It frequently goes on sale for $1300+ with a free 27" qhd monitor.

It was? Not seeing it posted to SD?

I saw it posted for $1000 in March, but for $170 extra you're getting a fairly good monitor so figured it was worth sharing again.

Agree, I was looking to buy last week at $850.

Current posted deal is not slick but appreciate the share.

Yup! My apologies. I'll keep in mind to pass on the next time I see it at this price.

Finding deals is kind of difficult sometimes as you have to justify, is this a good deal even though it's technically not the lowest, I can't go back in time to buy that previous deal so would anyone be interested in it at this price? I generally do a good job I think (15 frontpage deals in the last 5 days) but not always perfect haha. I appreciate the feedback though Smilie

If you're using it mostly for work purposes, I'd recommend going for an IPS display. If you're mostly gaming, OLED. My 32" Alienware OLED gets plenty bright enough for me in my apartment as it's fairly dark even though it's just 250 nits. If you're using in a super bright room, I don't know if I'd recommend an OLED display though.

Thanks for the info. I'd like this monitor, and the "free monitor" sounds like a good deal, but I don't need it, so if I can get the 49" by itself for $850 I'll wait for that, or wait for the next model. I'm hoping for DP 2.1 to be added to the next year's model.

I think the one that you were referring to was the OLED 144Hz monitor and not this one. The lowest this one has been was around $1000 last year.

If you want to get it cheaper use coupon code 25SPRINGSAVE10 and it will knock off another 10% bringing it to $1052.99.

Coupon code should also work for other stuff on samsung.com

49" G9 G95C Non-Oled 240 HZ version with free monitor is $688.49 after coupon which is also a pretty good deal.
